Job Description

Employment Law Attorney A well-established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys practicing employment law, handling sophisticated matters, and working directly with clients. Position Overview The attorney will handle a broad range of employment law matters and will have the opportunity to take ownership of cases from initial evaluation through resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, excellent legal writing abilities, and a practical, client-focused approach. Responsibilities Handle employment law matters from inception through resolution Represent clients in employment-related litigation and disputes Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents Manage discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation Advise clients regarding employment-related laws, policies, and workplace disputes Analyze claims involving wage and hour issues, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other employment matters Develop case strategies and communicate recommendations to clients Work closely with attorneys and support staff to efficiently manage a caseload Maintain strong client relationships and provide responsive, practical legal advice Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in SC 2+ years of employment law experience Strong litigation and legal research/writing skills Experience handling employment disputes from inception through resolution preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to independently manage matters while working effectively as part of a team Opportunity This position provides the opportunity to work on a diverse range of employment matters while developing strong litigation and client-management skills.
