We are currently seeking an experienced Appellate Attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York to join our growing legal team. Offices are located in Bay Shore, NYC and Williamsville, NY Position Summary The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in creditors' rights and mortgage foreclosure litigation , together with a strong background in appellate practice. This position requires exceptional legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills, as well as the ability to manage appellate matters from inception through disposition. Qualifications Admission to practice law in the State of New York (required). Minimum of three (3) years of appellate experience . Demonstrated experience handling creditors' rights and mortgage foreclosure matters . Strong legal research and writing skills. Experience drafting appellate briefs, motions, and related submissions before New York appellate courts. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective appellate strategies. Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting court deadlines. Responsibilities Handle all aspects of appellate practice in creditors' rights and foreclosure matters. Draft appellate briefs, motions, responses, and related legal memoranda. Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy. Analyze trial court decisions and identify appellate issues.
