Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support to clients and internal teams while honing your skills in legal research, negotiation, case management, and courtroom procedures. • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case development and legal opinions.
• Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
• Assist in managing multiple cases across various practice areas by maintaining organized case files and tracking deadlines.
• Prepare for litigation by developing strategies, drafting pleadings, and supporting discovery processes.
• Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Stay informed on current laws and regulations across practice areas such as statutory legal research and procedural law knowledge.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases involving personal injury law or general litigation to ensure thorough case preparation. Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the Pennsylvania state bar is required.
• Proven experience or strong interest in practicing estate planning/probate, workers' compensation law, and personal injury cases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Strong analytical skills with a comprehensive understanding of procedural and statutory legal frameworks.
• Experience with legal case management software and familiarity with legal administrative processes.
• Effective negotiation skills combined with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
• Prior law office experience is preferred but not mandatory; a proactive attitude toward learning is essential.
