This is an exciting temporary opportunity with potential for permanent hire, offering the opportunity to join a collaborative administrative team in a professional, compassionate, and service-focused environment. The Administrative Support Specialist will provide essential front-line and administrative support, including answering incoming calls, assisting families, filing, scanning, document management, and general office support. Because this position frequently serves as a first point of contact for families, the ideal candidate will bring a high level of professionalism, empathy, discretion, patience, and compassion, along with strong administrative and organizational skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Answer incoming telephone calls and serve as a professional and compassionate first point of contact while following established phone scripts, procedures, and escalation protocols. Provide exceptional customer service while using discretion, patience, empathy, and sound judgment when responding to a variety of family needs. Perform filing, scanning, document management, data organization, and other administrative tasks while assisting with an existing paperwork backlog. Maintain accurate and organized documentation using internal systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and general office technology. Balance telephone coverage with administrative projects and provide day-to-day clerical support to the broader administrative team. Assist with additional administrative needs and projects based on department priorities and workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS

: Strong verbal communication and customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with families and callers. Highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain discretion when handling sensitive information. Comfortable learning and following established phone scripts, procedures, internal systems, and escalation processes. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, scanning, filing, document management, and general office technology. Ability to successfully balance telephone responsibilities, administrative projects, and changing priorities within a collaborative team environment.

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

This position is 100% onsite in Half Moon Bay, California. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on business needs. The initial assignment is anticipated to last approximately 60 days, with the possibility of extension and temp-to-hire opportunities for strong performers.

COMPENSATION

This opportunity offers an hourly pay rate of $24-$26 per hour , depending on experience.
