Job Description
The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York's mission is to investigate, prosecute and deter violations of federal statutes, enforce and represent the interests of the United States in civil litigation, uphold civil, constitutional and victims' rights, and foster partnerships with other federal, state and local government agencies and community groups.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level in which you are applying: To qualify at the GS- 12 level, you must possess:
Specialized Experience:
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS- 11 level in the Federal service performing (obtained in either the public or private sectors) (3) of the (4) duties listed below: Providing expert level analysis and advice regarding technological tools or solutions for litigation support of federal cases; Analyzing litigation support project requirements to define or understand project objectives, sequence of events, work effort, durations of tasks, and/or associated resource requirements; Processing electronically stored information in various electronic file formats to prepare it for case team review, for production in discover, and/or for filing or presentation as exhibits in court, or other uses during litigation; and/or Maintaining document review databases of voluminous discovery and/or case materials for cases.
