The Intake Specialist is the first point of contact for clients and potential clients and is an integral part of managing legal cases throughout the litigation process.
Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner Answer calls from clients and potential clients and field their questions Perform client intakes at all levels of the legal process Make calls to clients to assist them in completing their intake process Assist in processing, maintaining, and managing of cases through the intake process Assist in maintaining the case management database, Litify, (Salesforce) Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents as needed
Education & Experience Required:
Associate Degree or Paralegal Certificate Customer Service experience strongly desired Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook and MS Word required Salesforce and/or Litify experience a plus
Additional Expectations:
Knowledge of a multi-line telephone system, proficiency on computers, and excellent data entry and typing skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate professionally with peers and clients Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to work in a team environment and multitask Ability to problem-solve Extremely well organized Deadline focused, strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy
