Practice Support Specialist Knoxville, TN External Job Description and Responsibilities
JOB OVERVIEW
The Practice Support Liaison will have a noticeable presence in supporting the clinician new hire process along with administrative, operational and financial functions along with miscellaneous duties as assigned. The Specialist will work remote but will be supporting our Carolinas (NC, SC, VA, WVA) & South (TN, MS, AL) Regions. The PSL will collaborate with various departments across the service line and work with Clinicians, Practice Support Manager, Vice President of Operations (VPO) and Clinical Practice Managers (CPM) to ensure efficiency of the program and maintain customer confidence by keeping information confidential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AS ASSIGNED
Process clinician new hire tickets Coordinate clinician new hire training and orientation Order new hire equipment and supplies Coordinate & facilitate weekly PIP calls as assigned by Practice Support Manager Monitor & communicate new hire status to respective stakeholders Assist with special projects as assigned Miscellaneous duties as assigned Requirements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of six years of customer relations experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology a plus Exceptional organizational skills Excellent Client Service oriented, internal & external Health experience preferred but not required; Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential information using discretion, diplomacy and good judgment Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload Professional mannerism and appearance Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office) Superior communication skills - verbal and written
