Job Purpose To prevent property loss through theft, vandalism and fires. Protect safety of company employees and visitors. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Evaluate security and procedures at various locations. Conduct on-site inspections for compliance of security procedures. Work with area Police and Sheriff's departments in dealing with thefts, trespasses, etc. Repair faulty locks, knobs and cores. Work with area teams and agencies to eradicate protesters and employee drug use. Monitor and analyze incident reports and prepare various other reports. Investigate property loss. Arrange transportation to various locations for security monitoring. May operate security booth, answer phone calls, and screen visitors. Perform other duties as necessary. Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Thorough understanding of security procedures and measures. Knowledge of Penal codes and patrolling techniques. Knowledge of investigation techniques and property loss prevention. General locksmith knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills. Typing skills. Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

6 months' previous security experience. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position. Education Plant environment. Work Environment
