Job Summary Loss Prevention Field Agent Arlington, Texas Job Category:
Security & Loss Prevention SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for preventing the loss of any of the company's assets when possible and recovering those assets and apprehend the individuals that cause a loss when necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Using Loss Prevention criteria, observe, witness, stop, and detain offenders in shoplifting, counterfeiting, and ticket scalping incidents at Six Flags Over Texas Assist Security in the processing of individuals that attempt to enter the park illegally Conduct investigations concerning a wide variety of different malfeasance issues pertaining to Six Flags Over Texas and their Employees Able to demonstrate effective written and oral communication to offenders, parents, Loss Prevention Management and, Local Law Enforcement Organize paperwork and computer data entry as well as Interfacing verbally with all Over Texas/ Hurricane Harbor Employees and Management Converse with numerous employees and guests on various levels while always maintaining composure in potentially stressful situations Interface with minors / adults / local law enforcement and parents relative to internal and external theft issues As needed, coordinate all local law enforcement authorities for the arrest of offenders based on Loss Prevention criteria and provide authorities such photographic evidence and other documentation needed for prosecution of offenders Testify in court as needed concerning internal and external theft incidents
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Full availability, including days, nights, weekends, and most holidays Ability to work opening and/or closing shifts (up to 8-hour shifts preferred) Available for a seasonal commitment of at least 3 months through the end of the year Flexibility to work limited hours during spring, fall, and winter seasons Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Capable lifting to 25 lbs. Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to pass a comprehensive background check (including criminal and credit history) High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred Previous Loss Prevention or security experience preferred Commitment to providing excellent support to guests and fellow team members Discover what it's like to live and work in Arlington, TX.
