Duties Assist attorneys with all phases of bankruptcy cases, including filing petitions, schedules, and proofs of claim using legal case management systems. Prepare and review legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and reports ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedural law standards. Manage electronic document review and organize case files within document management systems like Bestcase and Clio for efficient retrieval. Support client communication by scheduling interviews, gathering necessary information, and maintaining confidentiality throughout the process. Coordinate with courts, creditors, trustees, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth case progression and compliance with deadlines. Perform administrative tasks including filing documents with courts, proofreading materials, maintaining calendars, and handling general clerical duties to ensure seamless office operations. Requirements Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining high organizational standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy. Effective interviewing techniques and people skills for client intake; strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment while supporting attorneys with project management responsibilities.
