Job Description

Part Time - Legal Assistant Position Summary Gadzo Law is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to our attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, maintain confidentiality, and ensure that daily office operations run efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who is professional, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. We are seeking a team member who shares these values and takes pride in supporting the firm's daily operations. Responsibilities Print, scan, copy, and organize legal documents and client files. Prepare outgoing mail, including certified mail, FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipments. Process incoming mail and distribute correspondence promptly. Assemble legal documents for filing, client meetings, and court submissions. Maintain electronic and physical client files in an organized and confidential manner. Answer and direct telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Greet clients and visitors and provide excellent customer service. Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference rooms. Assist attorneys and paralegals with document preparation and administrative tasks. Coordinate document execution, notarization, and delivery as needed. Order and maintain office supplies and ensure office equipment is functioning properly. Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and record management. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or prior legal office experience preferred. Previous administrative, legal assistant, or office support experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Professional demeanor with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Comfortable using scanners, copiers, postage systems, and other office equipment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills Experience working in a law firm or professional office. Familiarity with legal terminology and document management.
Pay:
$20.00 - $45.00 per hour
