Job Description

Overview Part-time / Contract Work / Some Remote work available We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EOIR Paralegal to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support for immigration proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), ensuring that all case documentation, research, and procedural requirements are meticulously managed. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help streamline case workflows, facilitate client communication, and uphold the highest standards of legal support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic legal environment focused on immigration law and related legal areas. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with preparing and filing immigration USCIS and EOIR cases, including forms and supporting documentation Conduct thorough legal research across various practice areas such as immigration law, family law, tribal law & regulations, and civil litigation support Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accurate data entry, filing, and document review Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision and clarity Interview clients to gather necessary information for case development while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Coordinate with courts, agencies, and clients to schedule hearings, follow up on case statuses, and ensure procedural compliance Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, maintaining calendars, and organizing case-related materials efficiently Experience Proven paralegal experience in a legal setting with familiarity in multiple practice areas including immigration law, estate planning, environmental law, or general litigation Strong knowledge of procedural law and experience with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw Proficiency in legal case management software including iManage, Westlaw, PCLaw, and document review systems Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Effective client communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly and ethically Experience supporting attorneys in preparing for hearings or trials within a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional legal support.
