This vital role combines the responsibilities of notarizing legal documents with providing comprehensive paralegal support across a variety of practice areas. The ideal candidate will be energized by complex legal tasks and possess a passion for delivering exceptional client service. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of legal documentation and processes, supporting attorney and clients alike. Duties Prepare, review, and manage legal documents across multiple practice areas including estate planning, and real estate transactions. Conduct thorough legal research. Perform notarizations on various legal documents in accordance with state laws and regulations, ensuring proper identification and procedural compliance. Assist attorney with case management tasks such as document review, filing, data entry, and maintaining organized case files using document management systems like Mircosoft Office. Support client communication by scheduling appointments, answering inquiries professionally via phone or email, and providing updates on case progress. Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, and other documentation with precision and clarity. Handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining strict adherence to privacy standards. Support attorney in project management activities to ensure timely completion of legal tasks and compliance with deadlines. Qualifications Paralegal experience highly desired. Notary certification required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Word processing software, and document review tools; experience with document management systems is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration; phone etiquette is vital. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while supporting attorney with administrative tasks such as transcription and data entry. Familiarity with legal administrative support functions including filing procedures helpful.
