Prepare Business/Employment (EB1 & EB2) and family petitions, asylum applications, motions to support removal proceedings, waivers applications, etc.
Conduct document review and analysis for immigration cases.
Handle supporting documents for various immigration petitions and applications.
Organize and maintain case files, including tracking deadlines and important dates
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documents
Prepare legal forms, letters, and other correspondence
Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
Assist in drafting legal documents, such as affidavits and briefs
Coordinate with government agencies and courts regarding case status updates
Attend meetings with clients and assist in client interviews
Manage processes including but not limited to: drafting legal documents and correspondence; assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court and USCIS filings; calendaring and deadline management; research and fact finding; and other tasks as may be assigned. ``Requirements``
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or related field
1-2 Year(s) experience as an immigration paralegal or similar role
Required.
Bilingual (English and Spanish
Preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to transcribe legal documents accurately and efficiently
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy and completeness
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
