This position will provide you with the opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile matters with attorneys who are recognized as leaders in their fields. In addition, you will gain first-hand experience in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating law firm environment. You should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be highly motivated and detail oriented. Candidate must have a professional appearance and polished demeanor.
Comp Package:
Base salary up to $80K, paid overtime, yearly bonus, benefits, etc. Responsibilities for
Paralegal II:
Support attorneys in all aspects of litigation practice Work under direct supervision of firm's Director of Legal Support Assist with the collection, review and organization of discovery materials Create, maintain and update document databases Assist with the preparation of documents for production and create document production logs, privilege logs, and redaction logs Assist with the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and other court documents Prepare witness prep binders, deposition exhibits, case chronologies and other materials Organize and maintain case files Assist with preparation for upcoming depositions, witness interviews, presentations, conferences, hearings, oral arguments, and trials Familiarity with document management systems and e-Discovery platforms Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. This position may require work hours in excess of 40 hours per week in order to perform the essential duties of the position. Paralegal II:
3-5 years of commercial litigation experience Trial and discovery experience a plus Excellent organizational and creative problem-solving skills are essential Academically accomplished with excellent organizational skills Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required Available to work considerable overtime when required including evenings and weekends Able to work well under pressure in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy Strong written and oral communication skills Willingness to travel, as needed Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office and Adobe e-Discovery experience is preferable but not required.
