Job Description

This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of real estate transaction closings, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and providing exceptional support to attorneys and clients throughout the closing process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Softpro Select and the closing process from pre closing to post closing including e recording. Duties Prepare, review, and organize closing documents such as deeds, title reports, escrow instructions, and settlement statements using document management systems like Softpro Select. Order title exams and review them with attorney. Open closing files by reviewing purchase agreements and title orders and coordinating with agents, title underwriters, lenders, buyers and sellers. Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and handling client communications with professionalism and courtesy. Review lender instructions carefully and ensure that the closing disclosure matches. Experience Proven paralegal experience supporting real estate closings or transactional work within a law office setting. Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and general & commercial litigation is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of Softpro Select; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word processing and data entry is essential. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently; attention to detail is critical for document review and proofreading tasks. Effective communication skills for interviewing clients or stakeholders; professional phone etiquette essential for client interactions.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,109.68 per year
