Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling various administrative and legal tasks with accuracy. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and an eye for detail. This assistant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing legal documents, coordinating client meetings, and maintaining accurate records. This assistant will work closely with attorneys and clients to ensure that all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review legal documents
  • Coordinate client meetings
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions
  • Assist attorneys with drafting and filing legal documents
  • Communicate with clients and attorneys
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and competing deadlines
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed
  • Assist with the resolution of any issues that arise
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
  • 1-5 years of experience as a legal assistant or similar executive assistant level experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage large workloads with multiple tasks and competing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients The pay for this position is based upon experience.
