Founded in 1999 by principal attorney S. Aaron Tenenbaum, the firm emphasizes a high level of personal attention throughout each representation.
Scope:
This position is a full-time, on-site position based in Glenview, IL. This role supports 1-2 attorneys in real estate transactions by preparing and reviewing legal documents, coordinating title and survey matters, and assisting with closing documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting due diligence, organizing transaction files, tracking critical dates, and communicating with clients, lenders, brokers, and title companies. The paralegal/legal assistant will draft correspondence, compile closing binders, maintain checklists, and ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete. The role also involves scheduling, file management, and other administrative tasks related to real estate matters. Qualifications (Majority preferred but not required): Ability to prepare and organize legal documents, including contracts, leases, and closing packages. Experience conducting transaction-related research and review of documents and records. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in standard office and legal software; capable of creating, editing, and tracking documents electronically. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and clients. Prior real estate paralegal experience in a transactional practice is preferred but not required. Knowledge of Polish, Russian, and/or Ukrainian languages is required .
