Job Description

Hassakis & Hassakis, P.C. is a plaintiff personal injury firm seeking a skilled, detail-oriented paralegal/admin assistant to join our Mt. Vernon office. We represent individuals and their families throughout Illinois after an injury. We are seeking a long-term employee that will work with one attorney if hired. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities and prior experience as a paralegal. Key Responsibilities Draft and prepare pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other litigation documents. Assist attorneys with case development, investigation, and factual research. Manage case files from intake through settlement or trial, maintaining accuracy and organization. Order, review, and summarize medical records, bills, insurance files, and liability materials. Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Track and calendar deadlines, statutes of limitation, and court scheduling. Assist in settlement preparation, including drafting demand letters and assembling supporting documentation. Qualifications Prior experience as a paralegal in personal injury or civil litigation preferred. Ability to organize large volumes of documents and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF editing tools and case management software. Focus mindset with the ability to work under deadlines High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
