Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our ligitation team. This role provides critical administrative and clerical suport to our litigation attorneys, ensuring smooth case management and efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support litigation attorneys with case preparation, filing deadlines and document managment Draft and format legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery documents and court filiings Maintain comprehensive litigation calendars, including court dates, filing deadlines and statues of limitations Organize and prepare exhibits, briefs and appendices for trial and motion practice Schedule depositions, mediations and client meetings related to active litigation matters Coordinate with court reporters, process servers and expert witnesses Process and properly file incoming legal documents and correspondence Maintain meticulous litigation case files, both electronic and physical Assist with client intake and communication for litigation matters Support attorneys during trial preparation and proceedings

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of litigation support experiences in a law firm setting Strong knowledge of court rules, filing procedures and litigation terminology Experience with e-filing systems and electronic discovery platforms Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet critical deadlines Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing litigation demands Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on document formatting and production Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive case information
