What You'll Do:
Real Estate All aspects of due diligence and closing processes for real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and refinances. Drafting of real estate documents. Reviewing and summarizing title examinations and title commitments. Preparing and distributing closing packages, and disbursements. Managing and coordinating attorneys, clients, agents, and lenders, for closing dates. This position has long-term career potential and comes with competitive hourly wages, benefits and potential for periodic bonuses. The work week is 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with some flexibility as appropriate. This position is not remote, and requires in-person work in Ludlow, though regularly scheduled "remote work" days can be arranged after initial training is completed.
Other skills and expectations include:
  • Managing and prioritizing high volume caseload;
  • Working with members of the staff and attorneys in assisting with their clients and projects;
  • Assisting staff and attorneys with tracking caseload, monitoring and following up on requests and action items;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and develop strong client and referral relationships;
  • Screening and scheduling appointments for attorneys;
  • Self-managing follow up on delegated assignments;
  • Maintaining client files; and
  • Maintaining client confidentiality.

Qualifications and Preferences Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree in paralegal studies (REQUIRED). 2-4 years' experience with residential real estate transactions. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Qualia, and Practice Panther. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Reliable transportation required
