We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Paralegal to join our team and provide support to our attorneys and clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paralegal or someone looking to expand their experience in a professional legal environment. Position Overview The Part-Time Paralegal will assist attorneys with day-to-day legal operations, including preparing and organizing legal documents, conducting research, communicating with clients, maintaining case files, and supporting attorneys with various legal matters. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with preparation, organization, and review of legal documents Draft, edit, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, forms, and other legal documents Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files Conduct legal research and summarize findings Assist with discovery and document review Prepare documents for electronic filing with courts and other agencies Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties Track case deadlines, appointments, and important dates Assist with client intake and gathering necessary documentation Maintain strict confidentiality of client and firm information Provide administrative and organizational support to attorneys Perform other paralegal and office duties as needed
Qualifications Required:
Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information professionally Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and standard office software Professional and courteous communication with clients and coworkers
Preferred:
