Job Description:

Daudi & Kroll, P.C. is seeking a part-time Legal Assistant/Law Clerk to join our busy law firm. Due to our large case load, the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible and committed to helping us meet all our clients' needs. We need a motivated, reliable, self-starter who is eager to learn. To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. You will also need to be able to multitask effectively and essentially thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities Include:

Drafting legal correspondence and legal paperwork Reviewing legal documents Researching statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes and other data Working with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions and case filings Scheduling appointments, court dates and meetings Running errands, including delivering documents to court Answering a multiple line telephone system Assist support staff with administrative tasks

Requirements Include:

High School Diploma or Equivalency required Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel required Strong oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Must be able to function effectively in a busy environment Sensitivity to confidential matters As a small firm, every member of our team is extremely important to the overall success of the organization; we are looking for someone who strives to be a vital and dependable member of the team, is willing to be a team player, and readily accepts the challenges and responsibilities that a career in the legal field brings.
