Job Description

Legal Assistant/Paralegal Newton, NC Full-time Full-time Amber R. Mueggenburg, PLLC is seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our growing practice by handling estate administration, estate planning, real estate and general legal matters. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
Estate Planning and Administration:
Drafting estate planning documents and preparing estate administration filings
Real Estate:
Coordinating real estate closings, drafting real estate documents, and communicating with lenders, realtors and clients
General Legal Matters:
Managing firm calendars, drafting general legal correspondence, maintaining client files, answering phones, and greeting clients
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
Experience in estate administration, estate planning and/or real estate is not required, but is preferred. Candidates with a work and/or educational background in accounting, finance, office administration or general law are also highly encouraged to apply
Communication:
Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, courts and other associates
Work Ethic:
Extreme attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure
Professionalism:
Punctual, reliable, responsible, and ethical
Technology:
Basic computer skills and experience with computer programs, such as Word and Excel Compensation and benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
