Summit Title Services, LLC is growing, and we're looking for a full-time, experienced Title Processor / Real Estate Paralegal to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with prior title company or real estate law firm experience who understands the moving pieces of a real estate transaction and is comfortable taking ownership of files, managing deadlines, solving problems, and communicating proactively from opening through closing. What You'll Do Manage a pipeline of residential real estate transactions from opening through closing Review new files, contracts, lender instructions, title requirements, and transaction-specific information Order and track title work, municipal information, payoffs, association information, and other required items Review incoming documentation for accuracy and identify missing information or potential issues Communicate regularly with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, municipalities, and internal team members Prepare and coordinate documents and information necessary for closing Track deadlines, outstanding items, and file requirements to ensure transactions remain on schedule Work closely with our Account Managers, Closing Specialists, Title/Legal team, and Post-Closing department Maintain clear and accurate file notes and documentation Proactively follow up on outstanding items rather than waiting for others to identify what is missing Troubleshoot routine transaction issues and know when an issue needs to be escalated Help provide an excellent closing experience even when the transaction itself gets complicated What We're Looking For Prior title company or real estate law firm experience required Prior residential title processing or real estate paralegal experience strongly preferred Ability to independently manage a busy pipeline and competing deadlines Strong understanding of the residential real estate closing process Exceptional organization and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable communicating directly with lenders, attorneys, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers Ability to identify problems, find answers, and follow through Dependable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of assigned files Comfortable learning new technology and adapting to changing processes Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a fast-moving, collaborative team We don't expect someone to know everything on Day One. We do need someone who already understands the title/real estate world, knows how to manage a transaction, and isn't afraid to ask questions, solve problems, and take responsibility for getting things done.
