If so, we'd love to have you join our growing healthcare team as a Legal Assistant. In this role, you'll serve as the primary liaison between our physicians, patients, and legal professionals, ensuring that legal requests, physician scheduling, and medical documentation are handled accurately, professionally, and efficiently. Your work will directly support patients receiving treatment for injuries related to motor vehicle accidents and other legal matters while helping our providers deliver outstanding care. What You'll Do As our Legal Assistant, you'll play an essential role in coordinating legal and medical processes by: Managing attorney and provider requests for physician depositions, Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), inperson trials, and narrative reports. Coordinating physician schedules for depositions, court appearances, and legal appointments. Processing all aspects of narrative report requests, including: Preparing invoices Coordinating medical records Scheduling and rescheduling appointments Gathering imaging reports and supporting documentation Serving as the primary liaison between physicians, attorneys, patients, and internal departments. Providing exceptional customer service while advocating for patients and ensuring timely completion of legal requests. Answering incoming calls, resolving inquiries, and directing requests appropriately. Maintaining accurate patient documentation and ensuring medical records remain current. Communicating scheduling conflicts or concerns proactively to leadership. Assisting with additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative healthcare environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 12 years of healthcare, legal, or clinical administrative experience required Knowledge of New Jersey NoFault, PIP, and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims strongly preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and webbased applications Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Professional appearance and demeanor Success in This Role Means You Build positive relationships with patients, attorneys, physicians, and coworkers.
