This is not an entry-level role — the ideal candidate will be able to independently manage files, support attorneys at a high level, and confidently handle family law matters from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
Manage attorneys' family law caseloads independently. Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, CISs, and discovery. Assist with divorce, custody, support, and related family law matters. Work directly with clients to gather information and move cases forward. Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Track deadlines, filings, and case requirements. Identify potential issues before they become problems. Provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys.
Requirements:
Substantial family law paralegal experience. Strong knowledge of family law pleadings and discovery. Ability to manage files with minimal supervision. Excellent organization and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to consistently meet deadlines and productivity expectations. Professional, proactive, dependable, and client-focused.
