This role plays a critical part in case development by ensuring accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation is obtained, logged, and made accessible for attorneys and staff.

Job Responsibilities Include :

Prepare and send initial and follow-up requests for medical records, billing, and imaging to providers Communicate with medical offices to confirm receipt and status of requests Handle provider-specific requirements (authorizations, portals, patient calls, etc.) Maintain and update the Medical Records Log (MRL) for each case Track outstanding requests, follow-ups, and receipt of records Review incoming records for completeness and relevance Contact clients to verify and update treatment providers Scan, save, and properly name documents according to firm naming conventions Qualifications (Required) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow-up on time sensitive matters Possess a professional demeanor Ability to maintain confidential information Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Ability to multitask and work efficiently in fast-paced environments
