) We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our legal team in our Broken Arrow or Tahlequah offices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal practices, including estate planning, tax law, family law, criminal law, and more. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess a passion for legal research and case management. You will play a vital role in assisting attorneys with document preparation, client communication, and legal administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient case workflows. Duties Assist attorneys to support case development across various practice areas such as civil litigation, tribal law, family law, and tax law. Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail. Manage case files using CLIO, ensuring all records are organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible. Conduct thorough document review and proofreading to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedural law requirements. Support client communication by drafting emails, scheduling interviews or meetings, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Perform data entry tasks related to case management systems while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Assist with administrative responsibilities such as filing, organizing legal documents, managing calendars for court deadlines or client appointments, and providing executive administrative support when needed. Skills Proven experience supporting legal teams in estate planning, family law, or civil litigation. Strong knowledge of procedural law and familiarity with litigation processes across multiple practice areas. Proficiency in CLIO is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities are essential. Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette. Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high standards of accuracy in document review and data entry. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with familiarity with document review tools and electronic filing systems.
