Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Paralegal to join our Goose Creek office. This position will focus on Probate, Estate Planning, and Litigation matters. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable speaking with clients over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with probate filings, estate planning documents, and litigation support Draft and organize legal documents, including wills, trusts, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence Coordinate and manage case files from initiation through resolution Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and other parties via phone and email Maintain deadlines and ensure accuracy in documentation and case management
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paralegal in probate, estate planning, or litigation is strongly preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable and professional on client phone calls Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software Paralegal certification or relevant degree preferred
