Wimberly Lawson Wright Daves & Jones, PLLC is looking for an experienced part-time Legal Assistant (with potential to transition to full-time) to assist in general liability, employment law and workers' compensation defense. The schedule will be Monday through Friday. Successful candidates must be able to prepare pleadings and discovery, assist with discovery requests, review and summarize medical records, and schedule depositions and hearings. Experience with TABS billing is a plus. This position includes contact with clients, insurance companies, opposing counsel, court staff, medical providers and experts in a variety of fields. Candidates must be able to multi-task, prioritize and demonstrate attention to detail and utilize strong time management skills. Excellent organizational, typing, writing and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate must be a team player and able to function effectively in a fast-paced amiable work environment.

Requirements:

1. At least two years' legal experience; 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint); 4. Professional demeanor and attire. Pay is based upon experience. Benefits are for full-time only.
