We are a well-established and growing law firm in Logan, Utah, committed to providing high-quality legal services with integrity and care. Our team values professionalism, efficiency, and a client-centered approach. We are currently seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team, primarily supporting attorneys in estate planning, civil law, probate, and general practice matters .

Responsibilities:

Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. Maintain and organize client files, both electronically and in physical format. Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate court dates and deadlines. Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and other legal professionals via phone, email, and in person. File legal documents with courts and government agencies (both electronically and in person when needed). Perform legal research and gather information for case preparation. Assist in managing billing, timekeeping, and document management systems. Ensure strict confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with discretion.

Requirements:

Previous experience preferred but no required. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document formatting. Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal practice management software. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with estate planning software or case management systems Notary Public or willingness to become one. Familiarity with Utah court e-filing systems.
