Our asset recovery law firm is seeking a full-time (part-time also an option) legal assistant with a focus on telephone work. This is an entry level position that could lead to advancement opportunities. Seeking full time hours that include flexible options to work a 4/10 hour workweek or traditional 5 day workweek. Part time of at least 20 hours per week possible depending on situation and candidate.

NO WEEKENDS!

Pay starts at $16 - $17 an hour with increases dependent on experience and productivity. Medical and dental insurance is provided.

Job responsibilities may include:

Accepting inbound and making outbound calls typically related to collections. Processing legal paperwork. Contact with employers regarding garnishments. Other contact with debtors regarding lawsuits and resolving of accounts.

The ideal candidate has:

The ability to understand big picture. Attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Experience and is comfortable with phones. Experience with sales, collections or negotiation is helpful. Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is a very strong plus.
