Walstead Mertsching PS is a general practice/litigation firm seeking a Legal Assistants for our busy law office. This position will be responsible for general litigation collecting and organizing documents, discovery and other information, calendaring dockets and appointments, creating new files, communicating directly with clients, and providing a variety of related administrative support.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, in oral and written form, with individuals at all levels within the Firm and outside the Firm. Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail. Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment using good judgment. Strong interpersonal skills to build successful working relationships and to work within a team environment exhibiting the ability to collaborate effectively as well as work independently Experience is preferred but we will consider candidates without, but who have good interpersonal skills, ability communicate clearly and concisely, and ability to effectively multi-task in a fast past environment. Salary rage is $18.00 - $33.00/hr and based on experience.
