Job Description

Senior Paralegal Brehmer Law LLC is a firm offering legal services wherever life takes you. From business and tax law to estate planning services, we have our clients covered. Our owner is a licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) who guides his clients through their legal situation with thoughtful counsel and sound advice based on over a decade of experience. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated self-starter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in business transactional support, be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess strong organizational skills and have exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities Candidate will be responsible for drafting Estate Planning Documents including, Wills and Trusts, Property POAs, Healthcare POAs, Living Wills and HIPAAs Work directly with clients, beneficiaries and financial advisors Answer questions and provide information to prospective and current clients Provide overall support to attorney's business needs, scheduling appointments with clients, responding to emails and recording and storing client information Schedule client meetings both in-person and via zoom Prepare final documents for execution of Estate Plan documents Coordinate execution of Estate Plan documents with clients and act as a Notary or Witness at signings Lead the onboarding and training of new staff members Develop and maintain training materials, processes, and resources to support consistent staff training. Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and support to administrative staff Oversee the day-to-day activities and responsibilities of administrative staff Serve as a resource for administrative staff when questions, challenges, or procedural issues arise. Qualifications Responsible, reliable and confident speaking with clients, attorney's and financial advisors Previous experience with Estate Planning Documents beneficial but not required Excellent communication skills with ability to interact professionally with staff, attorneys, paralegals, clients and advisors Ability to work independently as well as with a team, have an acute attention to detail and multi-task and prioritize while working in a deadline-driven environment Strong technical skills, particularly Microsoft Office Benefits Simple IRA Simple IRA Matching Paid time off Health Insurance Life Insurance Short Term Disability Cellphone Allowance Competitive salary and bonus opportunities Please submit resume for consideration to ARosenbeck@brehmerlawllc.com.
