Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or passengers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, parking-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, access points, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic patterns, assist with access control practices, and communicate with site contacts regarding suspicious activity, hazards, and/or service needs. Prepare clear and accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications to support ongoing awareness of security-related conditions at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
