Drug Court Coordinator Department:
Fayette County Probation Adult Redeploy Illinois Grant
RESPONSIBLE TO
Chief Managing Officer Job Duties:
Coordinates Drug Court activities, which may include:
  • maintaining existing grant requirements;
  • data collection; and
  • monthly, quarterly and annual reports;
  • organizing pro-social events In addition, the coordinator would attend the weekly Team staffing, coordinate services and treatment; ensure the team maintains integrity of the program as well as compliance with the Illinois Compiled Statutes, and the Problem Solving Court Standards.
The coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating extracurricular activities, maintaining incentives for clients, organizing and coordinating training for the Team, including evidence based treatment options, and developing community resources, promoting the program through community engagement, while maintaining confidentiality of all participants as well as other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree is preferred, preferably in criminal justice, social work or education. High School Diploma will be accepted as long as applicant has prior experience.
GENERAL EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to the educational requirements, successful applicant will have demonstrated ability in the following:

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily; and
  • Comply with the Code of Professional Conduct for the Fourth Judicial Circuit.

  • Knowledge of issues related to criminal justice, community substance use and mental health, case management and community resources;
  • Ability to utilize a computer and software, such as Microsoft Office, to include but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Zoom, Internet Explorer, etc.;

  • Ability to maintain complex records;
