Job Description

Immediate need for a Bilingual Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager (4-6 month contract) to lead all site environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This role partners closely with site leadership to establish and maintain policies, programs, and standards that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and

Global EHS standards. The EHS Manager will be responsible for creating a strong safety culture, reducing workplace injuries and illnesses, minimizing workers' compensation costs, and driving continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety performance.

Location:
Kissimmee, FL What's the Job? Identify workplace environmental, health, and safety hazards and implement risk prevention programs. Advise leadership teams and employees on minimizing workplace risks and improving overall EHS performance. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements. Foster a strong safety culture across all departments. Train employees on environmental, health, and safety requirements. Train frontline managers to identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions. Promote continuous learning through safety awareness initiatives and lessons learned. Conduct regular environmental, health, and safety inspections. Manage emergency preparedness and response procedures, including fire drills. Track inspection findings, audit results, and corrective actions through closure. Report workplace injuries, illnesses, and near-miss incidents to corporate EHS leadership. Develop and communicate site-specific EHS performance reports.
Maintain accurate records including:
Partner with plant leadership to continuously improve site safety performance. Establish and maintain an EHS Council. Provide EHS guidance and support to all employees and stakeholders. What's Needed? 4-year degree in Safety Engineering/Sciences or related field 7
  • 10 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish fluently. Experience working in global manufacturing organizations. Significant knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and
U.S. EHS
laws Experience implementing EHS Management Systems such as ISO 14001/45001 and
ANSI Z10
