LaSalle Network is partnering with a fast-growing electrical construction company to hire a Safety Manager for their Hoffman Estates, IL location, supporting data center and critical infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity for a construction safety professional who wants to build and implement safety processes — not just enforce them — in a fast-paced, high-growth environment working directly alongside contractors and field crews. Responsibilities Develop, implement and enforce site-specific safety plans for construction and data center projects Work directly with contractors and field teams to implement safety processes Conduct regular jobsite inspections and audits Identify hazards and ensure corrections happen before incidents occur Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations and training Own procedures around lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, fall protection and confined space Investigate incidents and near misses, documenting root cause and corrective actions Serve as the point person for OSHA compliance, client safety requirements and third-party audits Maintain safety documentation, certifications and training records Handle new-hire safety and compliance processes Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents on pre-task planning and project safety What's Needed? 3+ years of experience as a Safety Manager in construction Strong working knowledge of
OSHA 1926 OSHA 30
required; OSHA 500 or CHST preferred Data center, electrical construction or critical infrastructure experience a plus
NFPA 70E
/ arc-flash knowledge valuable High-voltage, switchgear or critical-infrastructure experience a plus Highly organized with the ability to manage safety documentation across multiple platforms Strong communicator comfortable working directly with contractors, subs and field crews Confident, resilient personality — able to hold contractors accountable and enforce safety standards What's In It for Me?
