We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead to support day-to-day food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance operations within a food manufacturing environment.
This position will work closely with the Quality Control leadership team to help maintain high standards for food safety, product quality, sanitation, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the meat processing industry and a strong understanding of USDA, HACCP, SQF, GMP, SSOP, and food microbiology requirements.

Job Duties:
Support daily Quality Control and Food Safety activities throughout the processing facility.
Help ensure compliance with applicable USDA, FSIS, SQF, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, and food safety standards.
Assist with identifying, documenting, and addressing food safety and quality issues, including corrective and preventive actions.
Complete and/or oversee required daily, weekly, and monthly quality and food safety documentation.
Monitor sanitation, housekeeping, GMP, and SSOP compliance throughout the facility.
Assist with microbiological testing and related food safety requirements.
Help maintain and enforce foreign material prevention and control procedures.
Conduct routine facility inspections and quality audits.
Support SQF verification and validation activities.
Help ensure product specifications and quality standards are consistently followed.
Assist with food safety and quality training for employees.
Support investigations related to customer and product complaints.
Assist with training and development of Quality Control team members.
Apply knowledge of Critical Control Points (CCPs) within a food processing environment.
Serve as a backup to the Quality Control Supervisor when needed.
Perform additional quality and food safety responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have previous experience in quality control, food safety, quality assurance, or meat processing is required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
HACCP certification preferred, but not required.
Working knowledge of:
