QHSE Manager

Job Description

1. Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Maintain and administer the Quality Management System across LA operations.
  • Ensure all procedures, work instructions, and documentation comply with standards.
  • Coordinate internal audits, document control, and corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and KPI tracking 2. Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance
  • Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable state/local regulations
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure employees are trained accordingly
  • Monitor field operations to verify adherence to safety procedures
Note:
policy requires all employees and managers to follow and enforce HSE rules and regulations at all times. 3. Incident Reporting & Investigation
  • Ensure all accidents, incidents, and near misses are reported within required timelines
  • Lead or support incident investigations and root cause analysis
  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure reports are submitted to corporate management All accidents must be reported and investigated per the company HSE manual within 24 hours. 4. Training & Safety Culture
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee training
  • Ensure competency and awareness of QHSE requirements across staff
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and Stop Work Authority mindset 5. Audits, Inspections & Compliance Monitoring
  • Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Support client audits and regulatory inspections 6. Environmental & ESG Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with environmental policies and sustainability initiatives
  • Support ESG reporting and tracking
  • Monitor waste management, emissions, and environmental risks 7. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate QHSE records, training logs, and compliance documentation
  • Prepare reports for management, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • Ensure document control aligns with standards 8. Coordination & Communication
  • Liaise with operations, clients, and corporate management on QHSE matters
  • Support cross-division (TX, LA, AK ) QHSE consistency
  • Provide technical guidance to supervisors and field personnel Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of QHSE experience in oil & gas or industrial services
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and industry safety standards
  • Experience with incident investigation and audit processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools Preferred Certifications
  • OSHA 30 (or equivalent)
NEBOSH / CSP / ASP
(preferred but not required)
  • First Aid / CPR certification Key Competencies

  • Ability to work independently and in the field environment

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
