Possible for an ideal candidate Only apply if you have RN License Job Description We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality Improvement to lead hospital-wide quality, performance improvement, patient safety, and accreditation initiatives. This leadership role will work closely with hospital management, medical staff, and regulatory agencies to promote a strong culture of safety and improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead hospital-wide Quality and Performance Improvement programs. Oversee patient safety, quality initiatives, and continuous survey readiness. Develop and implement strategies aligned with organizational quality and patient safety goals. Manage and report quality improvement data and performance metrics. Provide leadership and oversight to the Quality Improvement department and staff. Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and hospital leadership to promote evidence-based, patient-focused care. Serve as a liaison with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable hospital policies and regulations. Requirements RN with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in an inpatient-care-related field. Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QA/PI) experience . 2-3 years of management and leadership experience (Director/Associate Director) Current professional license/registration as required by the state. CPHQ certification or eligibility to obtain CPHQ within two years of employment.
