This role will be responsible for leading overall Health Safety and Environment organization to create an interdependent culture enabling injury free workplace.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HS&E management systems, ensuring adherence to standards Create action plans to achieve HS&E targets and interpret them for modules/departments Lead HSE incident investigations Ensure root cause analysis and timely completion of corrective actions Foster leadership support for HS&E activities and advise on program gaps Track and report accurate HS&E data to corporate systems Communicate HSE performance and plans, maintain site scorecard and masterplan Establish a network of capable Technology and System Owners for HSE objectives Identify staffing needs and provide appropriate training Ensure HSE technology owners possess necessary skills and address gaps Develop realistic succession and backup plans for key HSE roles Stay informed about upcoming changes in HSE regulations and prepare the site accordingly. Continuous improvement of HS&E systems by leveraging digital tools Job Qualifications Required BS or MS degree in Engineering. 2-5 years of Health, Safety and environment experience and team leadership Strong leadership, business problem definition, and priority setting skills An aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations
