Role:

Quick Phys Medical is seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Director of Business Development - Occupational Health to help build and scale our growing employer health division. This is more than a traditional sales position. The person selected will work directly with company leadership to help develop our employer health strategy, build a repeatable sales process, establish strategic partnerships, and acquire employer contracts throughout Maryland. We are developing a comprehensive workforce health program designed to become a single healthcare partner for employers seeking fast, reliable access to occupational health services, employee health coordination, and workforce compliance support. Our initial target industries include healthcare, assisted living, home health, daycare and early education, transportation, staffing, construction, logistics, and other organizations with recurring occupational health needs. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both building and selling and wants to play a major role in developing a growing business division.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the business development strategy for Quick Phys Medical's Occupational Health and Employer Services division Identify, prospect, and secure new employer and corporate accounts Build a strong pipeline of qualified employer opportunities throughout Maryland Develop relationships with business owners, HR leaders, operations executives, safety professionals, benefits professionals, and other decision-makers Conduct employer discovery meetings, identify workforce health challenges, and develop solutions using Quick Phys services Present proposals, negotiate agreements, and close employer contracts Help refine employer service packages, pricing, sales materials, and go-to-market strategy based on market feedback Build and maintain a structured sales process using CRM tools Track pipeline activity, employer contracts, Employees Under Contract, recurring revenue, and other key performance indicators Develop strategic referral relationships with insurance brokers, PEOs, staffing companies, HR consultants, industry associations, and other potential partners Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure employer programs can be delivered efficiently Identify opportunities for onsite services, mobile occupational health, employee primary care, and additional workforce health programs Analyze market trends, employer needs, and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities Represent Quick Phys Medical at industry events, networking functions, employer meetings, and community organizations Help develop the sales infrastructure and processes necessary to eventually build and lead a larger employer-services sales team

Requirements:

3+ years of successful B2B business development or sales experience, preferably within occupational health, employer healthcare, workers' compensation, urgent care, employee benefits, staffing, PEO services, drug testing, or a related industry Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build a sales pipeline, and close new business Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales or revenue targets Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable prospecting and generating new opportunities independently Experience using CRM platforms and managing a measurable sales pipeline Ability to communicate effectively with business owners, executives, HR leaders, and operations professionals Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to help build processes in a growing organization Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented Existing relationships with Maryland employers or employer-service organizations are strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but relevant experience and demonstrated results may substitute for formal education
