RESRG Automotive is seeking you to join our team as a Safety Supervisor in our Portageville, MI facility! Your Job As a Safety Supervisor, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment. Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will lead site safety initiatives, ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements, conduct training and audits, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement efforts. This role partners closely with plant leadership and employees to foster a strong safety-first culture and minimize workplace risks. What You Will Do in Your Role Administer and maintain facility safety policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct routine safety inspections and audits to identify and correct hazards. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements. Monitor contractor safety activities and ensure adherence to company standards. Lead site safety committees and employee engagement initiatives. Coordinate and facilitate safety training programs, including Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, PPE, Powered Industrial Trucks, and Emergency Response. Maintain accurate training records and safety documentation. Lead and coordinate plant first responder teams, ensuring training remains current and effective. Plan and facilitate monthly emergency drills and develop lessons learned for continuous improvement. Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, and property damage events. Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions. Track, analyze, and communicate safety metrics and performance trends. Maintain OSHA logs, SDS records, and required regulatory documentation. Coordinate regulatory inspections and respond to agency inquiries. Partner with operations leadership to integrate safety into daily activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Promote and reinforce positive safety behaviors throughout the facility. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing safety experience. Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems. Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to effectively communicate and influence employees at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Technology, Human Resources, or a related field. OSHA 30-Hour Certification. CSP, ASP, or OHST certification. Experience in automotive manufacturing, injection molding, industrial production, chemical manufacturing, or

environments. Experience managing workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs. Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements. Demonstrated success leading safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
