Lane specializes in mobility, tunneling, and water resources to address sustainable development and climate change adaptation challenges. Description Leads, directs, and manages the project accident prevention program, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and local safety requirements. Enforces LaneÂs safety program, policies, and procedures; implements immediate corrective actions where required. Mentors, coaches, and evaluates safety employees, providing feedback and performance assessments. Develops and delivers training programs. Facilitates orientations, toolbox talks, and regular safety meetings with field crews, subcontractors, and professional staff. Participates in regulatory inspections. Investigates near misses, injuries, and incidents; and leads root cause analysis to ensure corrective measures prevent recurrence. Monitors incident trends and proactively implements measures to reduce risks and improve safety performance. Communicates with the corporate claims department to ensure accurate documentation of asset losses and workers compensation claims. Collaborates with project leadership to integrate safety into planning, scheduling, and execution of work activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's Degree Certifications
