White Plains, New York Job Description A well-established NYC general contracting firm is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager / Coordinator for a permanent, full-time position. The role will oversee site safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture across construction operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily site safety activities and enforce company/project safety policies. Conduct safety orientations and daily site inspections. Identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; maintain required documentation. Communicate safety risks and requirements to project teams, subcontractors, and workers. Maintain accurate safety records and ensure compliance with NYC DOB, OSHA, and applicable regulations. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project safety programs.
Qualifications:
Current NYC Site Safety Manager License required. Minimum 3 years of Site Safety experience. 30-Hour OSHA certification required. 62-Hour SST Card required. Construction safety experience strongly preferred. Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Pay Range:
