This role offers the opportunity to oversee safety during demolition, equipment installation, electrical conduit work, crane operations, material handling, and facility expansion activities within a fast-paced industrial construction environment. Required Qualifications OSHA 30 and/or

OSHA 510

Certification 3+ years of construction safety experience Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing facility construction or shutdown experience Mechanical construction experience Demolition project experience Experience supporting crane and rigging operations CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential What You'll Be Doing Oversee daily safety activities throughout all phases of the shutdown and expansion project Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Monitor demolition, equipment installation, electrical conduit, and mechanical construction activities Support crane operations, rigging activities, and material handling operations Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records Partner with field supervision and subcontractors to proactively identify and mitigate hazards Promote a positive safety culture across all project activities Technical Knowledge Candidates should have working knowledge of: OSHA Construction Standards Industrial Construction Safety Manufacturing Facility Construction Plant ShutdownTurnaround Safety Demolition Activities Mechanical Equipment Installation Electrical Conduit Installation CraneRigging Operations Material Handling Operations Fall ProtectionElevated Work Activities Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development Incident InvestigationRoot Cause Analysis Contractor Safety Management Construction Risk AssessmentMitigation What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a highly visible, field-focused safety professional who can effectively coordinate multiple contractors and trades, proactively identify hazards, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the safe execution of shutdown and expansion activities while keeping the project on schedule.
