Emergency Management & Life Safety Manager

Job Description

The Emergency Management & Life Safety Manager is responsible for coordinating and maintaining Osage Nation Health Systems emergency preparedness, life safety, and related compliance programs. This position develops and maintains emergency plans, coordinates drills and training, manages life safety inspection and testing documentation, tracks deficiencies and corrective actions, and supports a safe and compliant environment across ONHS facilities. The position works closely with Facilities, Security, clinical departments, leadership, vendors, and outside emergency response agencies. Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in emergency management, healthcare operations, facilities/life safety, public safety, regulatory compliance, or a related field. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record - may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles General Qualifications Associate's degree preferred. Knowledge of healthcare operations, OSHA, AAAHC, CARF, and life safety systems preferred. Knowledge of emergency planning, drills, incident response, and corrective action processes. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate with multiple departments, vendors, regulatory agencies, and emergency responders. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing.
