TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Anderson, SC office for a Safety Manager within multiple Distribution Centers. The Distribution Center Safety Manager leads all safety, health, and regulatory compliance activities within the distribution center. The role partners with operations leadership to build a proactive safety culture, reduce risk, ensure compliance, and support efficient warehouse operations through training, auditing, incident prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and sustain safety programs, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable regulations. Lead audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses. Manage incident investigations and corrective actions. Deliver safety training and onboarding programs. Monitor warehouse traffic, powered industrial trucks, dock operations, racking systems, and material handling processes. Lead emergency preparedness and response planning. Communicate safety performance metrics and recommendations to leadership. Ability to climb stairs, access mezzanines, and inspect warehouse equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to respond to emergencies across all facility areas. Working Conditions Distribution center and warehouse environment. Frequent exposure to forklifts, conveyors, shipping docks, and material handling equipment. Combination of office and floor presence. May support multiple shifts, weekends, or emergency response situations when necessary. Success Metrics / KPIs OSHA Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) Lost Time Incident Rate (LTIR) Near-Miss Reporting Participation Safety Training Completion Rate Audit and Inspection Scores Corrective Action Closure Rate Workers Compensation Cost Reduction Forklift and Material Handling Incident Reduction Required Qualifications Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. 5+ years of safety leadership experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial operations. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems. Experience conducting investigations and managing corrective actions. Preferred Qualifications
CSP, ASP, CHST, OSHA
30-Hour, or equivalent certification. Experience in high-volume distribution center environments. Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement experience. Knowledge of WMS and warehouse automation. Categories Power Equipment/Team TTI
